------- "DO IT YOURSELF" ENTRY ------- PURPOSE: Adapted suspenders allow user to lower trousers without having them fall to the floor and out of reach. This is particularly useful for hemiplegic persons and amputees. Alligator radio clamps are attached to each end of a single length (about 60 inches) of nylon cord. The cord is placed under the shirt collar with the ends threaded through belt loops of trousers. One end of the cord is then doubled back and attached to the other end of the cord on either side of the collar using the alligator clamps. Includes photograph. SKILLS REQUIRED: Assembly.
