Picture of FREEDOM SCOOP PLATE The Freedom Scoop Plate is a scoop dish designed for use by individuals with upper extremity or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. This plate has a high rear wall to assist in pushing food onto utensils. This dish includes the Freedom vacuum pad, and the plate screws onto the pad like a jam jar lid. With the pad in place, the plate sticks solidly to any smooth table or work surface and it is virtually impossible to lift or move. To remove the pad simply lift up any corner to release the vacuum. The pad can now be removed or repositioned. The plate is microwave safe (the base cannot be microwaved) and can be washed in a dishwasher (top shelf), while the pad can be washed and dried by hand. DIMENSIONS: 205 millimeters in diameter.
