--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 08/93) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Heating pad that applies moist heat to a localized body area. Pad is divided into cells containing granular material that absorbs water and swells to fill out the pack cells. Pack is heated in hot water, heat lasts for 30 minutes before reheating required. Covers for heat packs help prevent burns. Covers are heavy terry cloth with foam padding between layers. Velcro closures.
