(Verified 9/2003) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE --- The Adaptive Shower Chair, model 6902, is a caster shower chair for children that can also be used as a caster shower commode with optional equipment (see separate entry for Adaptive Commode 6901). The telescoping legs are height adjustable; the back legs have wheels, the front legs have crutch tips. The high back system was developed to provide children with head and trunk support. The footboard is adjustable in height. Standard equipment also includes a removable grabrail. OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT: Waterproof headrest wedge pillows, commode pan, deflector, adaptive back for commode, and wheels with brakes instead of crutch tips on front legs. DIMENSIONS: (W x L) 18 x 28 inches x 45 to 48 inches adjustable height. SEAT DEPTH: 11 to 14 inches. CAPACITY: 90 pounds maximum. OCCUPANT SIZE: Accommodates children up to approximately 14 years of age, depending on physical size. MATERIALS: satin finish, stainless steel framework; plastic-coated footboard; soft rubber wheels; heavy duty vinyl upholstery that is water/urine/mildew proof and anti-bacterial. Backrest is made of yellow polyester mesh. WARRANTY: Lifetime limited warranty on defective frame weldment; 12-month warranty against defects in manufacturing, materials or workmanship (covers parts only); upholstery carries a 30 day warranty.
