(Verified 06/2006) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Patient Transfer Sling, model E101, is a manual transfer device designed for attendants' use during all types of one or two person transfers. The sling looks like a flexible transfer board and can be used behind the patient to assist in standing transfers or under the patient for two person lifting transfers. The sling is made of polymer with high tensile strength and low stretch. The device effectively lengthens the attendant's arms to avoid twisting and some bending. Exension grips for the sling are available. Washable. DIMENSIONS: 510 x 205 x 3 millimeters with 25 x 100 millimeter handgrips. WEIGHT: 400 grams.
