Picture of ERGOSTAND The Ergostand is a standing transfer aid designed to be used by individuals with balance, lower extremity, mobility, and severe physical disabilities. The Ergostand can be used to dress, clean and transfer individuals in need of additional support. The individual is supported by a band sling with a Velcro waist enclosure reinforced with two belts. A back support, a padded knee support and an anti-slip foot base ensure safety. Control of start and stop, motorized base, and 2-speed vertical movement are contained in a handset and control box. Standard features include multi-positioned handles, directional wheel guide, and an emergency stopping device. POWER: Uses battery power and includes an integrated charging system, and a visual and audible low battery indicator. CAPACITY: 400 pounds.
