The BeasyTrans ETS and Beasy II ETS are transfer board systems designed to assist individuals with transfer between a wheelchair and a bed, shower bench, commode, car, chair, etc. or a stretcher and a bed. These devices differ from other transfer devices in that they have sliding seats that move from one end of a central elongated S-shaped track to the other. Because the seats slide with the user, the shear stress and friction associated with moving is borne by the system, not the users' skin. These devices made of polymers developed by DuPont for increased durability. These materials can be cleaned by most agents normally used to sanitize durable medical equipment with no adverse effect on strength or performance. All components of the unit disassemble for maintenence. OPTIONS: Carrying cases and transfer belts are available. DIMENSIONS: The BeasyTrans ETS is 40 inches long; the Beasy II is 27.5 inches long; both systems have 12-inch diameter end surfaces, a 1-inch base, and a half-inch seat component. CAPACITY: 400 pounds. WEIGHT: The BeasyTrans weighs 6.5 pounds; the Beasy II weighs 4.5 pounds. COLOR: White.
