The Security Pole is a vertical pole transfer aid designed for use by individuals with balance, mobility, or lower extremity disabilities. This pole can be installed in any room and placed beside a chair, bed, couch, toilet, shower, or tub to assist with standing and sitting and transfers. It can also be moved between rooms if needed. Made of rust-resistant, zinc-plated steel, this floor-to-ceiling pole is tension mounted and is packaged with its own wrench; no other tools are required. The Security Pole can be permanently installed with the wood screws that are included, if the user desires. The pole is equipped with a closed-cell foam, non-slip gripping surface. DIMENSIONS: The pole separates into two 53-inch sections for transport and storage. The unit fits ceilings 7 to 9 feet tall. An optional extension accommodates 10-foot ceilings. CAPACITY: 300 pounds.
