Lightweight myoelectric prosthetic hand for preschool amputees. Plastic body and fingers. Operating voltage 6 Volts. Maximum current 340 mA. Opening width of grasp 1.97 inches. Pinch with gloves fitted 4 pounds. Opening and closing time 1 second, maximum. Weight with wrist unit VVO- 3: 130 grams, VV2-6: 168 grams, VV5-9: 260 grams. Length without wrist unit 3.54 inches. Width 2.13 inches, maximum. Weight 5.4 ounces. Hand van be operated by switch or myoelectric control. Variety Village 3 State or Otto Bock control systems can be used for myoelectric control. Gloves are a PVC type and have a manual override to enable fingers to be opened for easy glove removal. A larger wrist is available for older children.
