Picture of TETRAZAP TetraZap is an adapted DVD player and television remote control designed for use by individuals with spinal cord injury or upper extremity amputation or disability. This universal remote controls TVs, VCRs, DVDs, and/or cable or satellite boxes. Dual mouth-operated joysticks enable users to control up to three TV entertainment devices. Users can turn on and off the TV, VCR, DVD, cable or satellite box, change channels, and control volume. Special macro functions can turn all units on or off at once. The adapted universal remote control can also be used as a standard remote (all original functions may be utilized) and programmed to control the various devices by a helper. OPTIONS: Articulated arm mounting system and various joystick knob types.
