The Child Guidance Talking Phonics Blocks is an educational toy designed to aid children with vision and learning disabilities in learning the alphabet and in learning early phonics and spelling skills. This set includes seven sculpted blocks with a raised picture and the corresponding three dimensional word on each face, using one face for each letter of the alphabet, and a schoolhouse base with smart electronics that enable the unit to recognize each picture on the blocks. The schoolhouse also features a dial to select a function mode: Phonics mode sounds out each of the 26 words on the blocks; spelling mode spells each of the words; and sentence mode speaks a sentence for each of the 26 words. The unit also plays 15 songs and makes 15 different sounds. POWER: Uses the included batteries.
