« Previous Product Next Product »The Orthopod is a low back orthosis and full back cushion designed to provide the user with the precise spinal pressures at various points on the back. The cushion may be used by individuals suffering from low back pain, arthritis, post spinal surgery pain, post laminectomy/spinal fusion, various spinal disc conditions, and sciatica. The support is portable and may be used when driving or travelling by car, bus, truck, etc., or at work. Two models are available: a High Back and a Low Back. The High Back model has a neck rest. Both models have a shell-shaped structure with air circulation vents. The shell complies to any seat, is finished with a cover of high grade urethane, and upholstered in a soft, durable fabric. OPTIONS: An additional Neck Support unit may be attached to the High Back Orthopod for added cervical support. Also, a Coccyx Seat is available for attaching to either model to help stabilize the pelvis by tilting it forward.
