The Lap Pal with Nylex Cover is a lapboard designed for use as a wandering patient system for wheelchair users with Alzheimer's disease or cognitive disabilties. This safety cushion fits snugly across the user's lap and securely against the wheelchair's arms, helping to keep the user from sliding down or getting out of the chair unassisted. The cushion is made of durable, lightweight polyurethane foam covered with Nylex fabric, and provides a resting place for user's arms. The cushion is flame-retardant and latex-free, and the cover is washable, fluid-resistant, and antimicrobial. It is available to fit wheelchairs with full-length or desk-length arms. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 3.5 x 10 x 24.5 inches (model MSC019038 for 16-inch wheelchairs with desk-length arms), 3.5 x 10 x 34 inches (model MSC019037 for 22-inch wheelchairs with desk- length arms or model MSC019032 for 22-inch wheelchairs with full-length arms), 3.5 x 10 x 27 inches (model MSC019035 for 18-inch wheelchairs with desk-length arms or model MSC019030 for 18-inch wheelchairs with full- length arms), or 1.5 x 10 x 27 inches (models MSC019036 for 18-inch wheelchairs with desk- length arms).
