The Occipital Headrest Systems are head supports designed to provide support beneath the occipital portion of the head, as well as laterally. An aluminum ban inside the headrest covers may be bent, shaped, or cut down. Models are available fixed and swing-away, with or without headbands (nos. 91100 to 93200). The 2-Step Headrest models are appropriate where additional surface area and contact are required. They have an ABS plastic base which can be heated and re-shaped for a more precise fit. These models include a replaceable naugahyde cover and come with 8 or 10 inch diameter headbands in fixed and swing-away models (nos. 96110 to 96122). The 2-Step Headrest is also available with an Anterior Headband to help the user with decreased head control to position the head in an upright position for feeding, transportation, etc. (Models 96111 to 96123).
