Next Product »--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 3/2013) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Lady Bug is a small long sitter posture chair designed for use by children with neurological disabilities. Lady Bug combines the early sitting position with legs straight to prevent knee tightening and the postural benefit of prone sitting. Prone sitting encourages the hips to tilt forward, creating a more stable sitting position. The seat is angle-adjustable between 10 degrees and 15 degrees and includes a padded, Velcro-attaching seat extension and a length- adjustable abduction block. The positioning support and activity tray adjust for height, depth and angle to improve arm support and function. Tray mounted lateral trunk supports offer support. The components of the chest positioning assembly include a Velcro-attaching chest pad, a chest security belt, and an angle- and height-adjustable, padded shoulder support. Generous padding and Multi-grip hip guides extend sitting tolerance. The back support is removable and laterals swing away for transfer. Upholstery is flame retardant and moisture resistant. DIMENSIONS: The overall minimum height of the Ladybug is 18.5 inches. The floor space required is 23.5 x 23.5 inches. The hip width adjusts from 5.5 to 10.25 inches. The tray work area is 22 x 16.5 inches. CAPACITY: The maximum user weight is 40 pounds. COLOR: The Ladybugs on both sides of the long sitter are black and red. WARRANTY: All BodyPoint products carry and unconditional guarantee against defects in workmanship and materials.
