Students explore and learn about familiar places in towns and cities, such as the supermarket, public library, shopping mall, hospital, airport, police station, fire station, bank, museum, bus station and others. They will see word labels for people, animals and objects in their community. When they click on an object, they will see its label, hear the word and receive a definition along with a sample sentence. Students will also be able to record themselves saying different words or phrases. It is also ideal as a tutor for adults or children who are learning English as a Second Language. This program is designed to be TouchWindow accessible (see separate entry) COMPATIBILITY: Macintosh. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Macintosh LC or higher; CD-ROM drive; System 7.0 or higher; 4 MB RAM.
