The Brannan Cubarithm Slate, model 1-00320-00, and Cubes, model 1-00330-00, together form a tactile aid for math designed for use by students who are blind or have low vision. The slate is a rubber frame with a 16 by 16 grid of nests that hold small plastic cubes. The cubes are numbered zero through nine in braille, with no print. Each cube represents one digit. Students can use the slate to represent arithmetic problems, including long division and multiplication of large numbers. The cubes (picture not shown) come in a set of 100. DIMENSIONS (LxW): The frame measures 8.75 by 9 inches.
