This hardware accessory connects to a telephone and phone line. For up to 60 names entered into its directory, it dials the number when the name of the person to be called is spoken. When the handset is picked up, the unit automatically asks for a name to call, but allows the user to dial manually by saying nothing at the prompt or pressing one of the phone keys to get a dial tone.
