(Verified 01/2013) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. ---The Electric Perkins Brailler, model 22-0103-6, is an electric braille writer designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This sturdy, portable machine has the features of the Standard Perkins Brailler (see separate entry), including the capacity to emboss 25 lines with 42 cells each on an 11 by 11.5 inch sheet of braille paper, and the ability to accommodate narrow paper widths and paper lengths up to fourteen inches long. This model allows users to produce braille with minimal effort and for longer periods of time. A felt pad that slips under the machine to reduce noise is included, along with a dust cover, a large wooden eraser, braille operating instructions in English, and printed operating instructions in English, Spanish, French, and German. Printed instructions in Italian and Portuguese are available upon request. WARRANTY: One year.
