The FM Satellite Wireless Receiver, model HAR 1, is an FM amplification system with a satellite receiver designed for sound enhancement and increased hearing aid performance by adding FM quality wireless reception without bulk or weight. The compact unit fits in a pocket, clips on a belt, or can be concealed on the body. The satellite receiver makes any hearing aid a wireless FM receiver, providing either monaural or bilateral amplification. Frequency response, high frequency enhancement to increase discrimination of teacher's FM voice. Distortion is less than 2 percent at 1k hz. Bilateral outputs will operate with one or two ##99151 transducers connected to hearing aids, or one or two 1000 ohm ear receivers, to 122 decibels SPL. Adjustments available. Adjustable automatic squelch to limit range, teacher level into hearing aid to provide any desired balance of teacher's voice to environment. Plug in module for frequency change externally, order model ATR 7m. POWER: The unit will operate on an alkaline battery for 70 hours, on a carbon battery for 65 hours, or a fully charged nickel cadmiun (NICAD) battery for 24 hours; all batteries must be 9 volt. DIMENSIONS: 2.2 x 3.5 x 1.1 inches. WEIGHT: 4 ounces.
