The Comprehensive Signed English Dictionary is a sign language training book for individuals who are or who work with people who are hearing disabled. The 456-page book contains more than 3,100 signs, with each sign fully illustrated and accompanied by an explanation of how the sign is made. The American Manual Alphabet, numbers, and sign markers are located in the front of the book for easy reference. A general description of the Signed English System, its logic, and its use have been rewritten specifically for this new dictionary. A special section assists children in choosing sign names for themselves and their family members.
