The Gamma R-D-1-1-1 is a digitally programmable hearing aid designed to assist persons with hearing disabilities. This behind the ear hearing aid works either through a remote control unit or independently by operating the toggle switches on the instrument itself. The user has the option of selecting two types of hearing programs through the remote control: one for everyday situations and another for special environment. It also allows the user the ability to adjust the low tone & volume controls, and the choice of linear or compression functioning. A Class D amplifier is used for maximum efficiency. POWER: Hearing aid uses 13 zinc-air or mercury batteries and the remote uses 3 AAA batteries.
