Picture of STARKEY S-SERIES HEARING AIDS Starkey S-Series Hearing Aids are programmable hearing aids designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. The series includes BTE (behind the ear), RIC (receiver in canal), CIC (completely in canal), ITC (in the canal), and ITE (in the ear) styles. These hearing aids are programmed for automatic recognition of a variety of sound enviroments such as wind, speech, speech in noise, machine noise, or being on the telephone, with automatic optimization for that type of environment. Acoustic Scene Analyzer technology instantly transitions the hearing aid for the greatest comfort and clarity in noise. The hearing aid recognizes conversational directionality and filters background noise during conversations in noisy environements. Other features include user-adjustable presets for music and television listening; the PureWave Feedback Eliminator; and the ability to adjust to a cell or touch-tone phone without using additional hardware. Features may vary by model. COLOR: Skin tones from pink to dark brown.
