The Caption Display is a closed caption display system designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. This is a remote captioning system that allows closed captioning to be displayed outside of the normal on-screen viewing area. The system presents all ASCII characters from television, video tape, video disc, cable, or off-air sources on a color thin film transistor (TFT) liquid crystal display (LCD) panel. Character height varies depending on display size. The system can be wall or table mounted. OPTIONS: An optional touch-screen is available for interactivity. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 12 x 4.375 x 14.75 inches, depending on display size and mounting option. The flat screen display is 8 inches on models CD-2500-8 and CD-2500-8T, 12 inches on models CD-2500-12 and CD-2500-12T, and 15 inches on model CD-2500-15T. WEIGHT: 12 pounds.
