The wireless smoke detector transmits a signal within a 100-foot radius and activates the receiver which attaches to a wall or can be placed on a night stand. The receiver then turns on a bed vibrating unit or flashes a strobe light to alert a sleeping person. There are two packages available: One system includes an audible alarm smoke detector that mounts on a wall or ceiling, the shake-up receiver, and a bed/pillow vibrator. The other combination includes the smoke detector, the receiver and a 100 candela strobe light. Both systems are portable. POWER: Smoke detector unit runs on a 9-volt battery. The receiver unit plugs into a standard alternating current (AC) wall outlet. DIMENSIONS: Receiver is 3 x 5 inches and the vibrator is 2 x 3 inches. WARRANTY: 2-year limited warranty on the receiver and a one-year limited warranty on other components.
