Magnetic sensor detects telephone ring, flashes lamp which plugs into back of superphone. 1000 character memory to save conversation or preprogram call. Memory can be expanded to 2000 characters. Sensitivity control for weak telephone signals. Transmits and receives Baudot and ASCII codes. Optional printer available, automatic answering, synthetic circuit, battery pack for portable use, touchtone receiver. Electronic voice output operates by typing letters on keyboard and speaks the words. Touchtone receiver allows hearing person with a touchtone phone to type out messages to be received on superphone.

Notes: Appropriate for use anywhere when the user needs both Baudot and ASCII codes. Special software is available for any person who needs to interface their Superphone with other aids such as Braille machines. Can hook up to any printer with a cable. Can store messages in memory to save and review or to send automatically over the telephone line.
