Hearing aid accessory that eliminates telephone feedback for "In-The- Ear" hearing aid users. Works with all makes of telephones and ITE hearing aids and in all countries. A specific cavity in which resonance and low pass filter characteristics are located within the frequency band width where normal feedback occurs (2500-4500 Hz) creates a standing wave pattern which "kills" the feedback when the telephone receiver approaches the ite hearing aid. Feedback is absorbed by the cavity and sponge. It is pressure adjustable so can be shaped to form different cavities if necessary. It avoids attenuation of frequencies other than those in the feedback range, so user will not have decreased volume. With this device, telephone can be held naturally, not away from ear. Can be carried in purse and strapped to phone. No moving or electronic parts.
