The Late-Life FDI is an outcome assessment evaluation test designed for use by community-dwelling older adults. This assessment tool measures meaningful change in the areas of function, defined as a person's ability to do discrete actions or activities, and disability, defined as a person's performance of socially- defined life tasks. There is a 16-item disability component and a 32-item function component. The assessment can be used to assess clinical outcomes in programs designed for seniors. It can also be used in clinical research studies to examine the impact of treatment and pharmacological interventions that aim to improve function and minimize disability. OPTIONS: Manual and scoring software package with manual, scoring software, and software user guide.
