DermaTherm is a skin response biofeedback unit designed to measure and display skin temperature for individuals who need to keep track of accurate skin temperatures throughout the day. DermaTherm incorporates liquid crystal technology into a wireless device with an adhesive strip that is smaller than a band aid. It is ideal in that is small and inconspicusous and can be comfortably worn throughout the entire day. Some of DermaTherm's functional application are as follows: to help confirm diagnosis of RSD or other sympathetically maintained pain disorders; to help assess nerve blockage, as an adjunct to Bio-feedback training; electromyography tests, to determine skin temperatures for adjusting water to appropriate temperature for hydor-therapy/treatment; for use in vascular, othopedic or plastic and reconstructive surgery to verify restoration of blood flow during and after surgery; for monitoring phlebitis patients and treatment. The product is sold in rolls of 50, 100, or 250, or in a sleve of 105.
