--- DISCONTINUED (Verified 11/2001) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The ProStretch (no. 10114) is a leg and angle exerciser designed to condition athletes, alleviate tight calves, Achilles tendinitis, plantar fascitis and shin splints, treat ankle sprain and improve balance by increasing the flexibility of the gastrocnemius-soleus comples. The device is an arc of molded plastic with a curved lower rocker covered with strips of rubber padding. The upper surfaces are ridged and have a heel stop to securely hold and support the foot. Under a therapist's supervision, the client steps into the device and rocks the foot according to the directions (complete instructions included with purchase). Proper manipulation induces a safely relaxed stretching movement, isolating each target muscle-tendon complex and strengthening with each stretch. Accommodates shoe sizes 5 through 15. MATERIALS: ABS polycarbonate plastic and rubber. DIMENSIONS: 11 x 4 x 6 inches. WEIGHT: 1 pound.
