--- DISCONTINUED. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Passive exercise machine for patterning and range of motion therapy from a sitting position. Legs move from fully flexed position to full extension; arms and body to move forward to full leg extension. Sits on floor in front of chair or wheelchair. Webbed straps for those unable to grip handle. Range of motion and degree of tension is varied by changing the degree of leverage at three points of motion: the patient handle, the foot plate and the assist handle. Self operable or dual controlled. Patient may operate unit alone with two legs, two arms, or one of each limb. Assistance is necessary if two limbs cannot be used. Attachments available include bicycle pedals, neck traction, bed units, children's units.
