The Rolyan Graded Pinch Exerciser, model A1966, is a finger and eye hand coordination exerciser designed for use by individuals with limited hand movement or who have neuromuscular disabilities. The kit includes a plastic bin with three horizontal rods of varying diameters. Clamped onto the rods are a total of 35 pinchpins. The pinchpins are color-coded and come in five different grades of resistance, with seven of each resistance included in the kit. Resistance is offered in approximately one pound, two pounds, four pounds, six pounds and eight pounds. The horizontal rods are of varying diameters to accomodate the various openings of each pinchpin. The kit also includes a vertical metal rod approximately for combining upper extremity shoulder range of motion exercies with resistive pinch exercises. OPTIONS: Replacement sets of seven pinchpins (all of one resistance) or a variety pack with one of each resistance. DIMENSIONS (WxLxH): The unit is 12.75 x 13 x 8.5 inches. The vertical rod is 37.5 inches high. COLOR: The one-pound resistance pins are yellow, the two-pound resistance pins are red, the four-pound resistance pins are green, the six-pound resistance pins are blue, and the eigh-pounds resistance pins are black.
