--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 8/1999) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Power Plus TES 4000 Fitness System is a complete nautilus weight machine for individuals who use a wheelchair. It can be used for Rehabilitation Hospitals, Health Clubs, Sports Medicine and Home; and is ideal in that it can be used by both wheelchair users and non-wheelchair users, from chronic care type patients to the sports enthusiasts. It has a five pin select weight stacks that surround the user with pulleys arranged to allow a wide variety of exercises that are important for illness or injury recovery. The system provides workouts for all parts of the body including chest, arms, shoulders, neck, upper and lower back, abdominals and legs. It has the same wheelchair and user lock down safety features with wheelchair stops to prevent tipping, hook straps for stabilization and wheelchair slides for user adjustment. Each weight stack has a Counter Weight Balance allowing every exercise and functional movement pattern to originate as low as one pound resistance. The frame is made of heavy duty 12 gauge steel and the cables are coated in heavy duty nylon. The 4000 system is ideal in that it can be arranged in a variety of configurations using a combination of four, six or eight free Standing modules. Choose from the following: 1000 Multi Exercise System, 1001 Rickshaw, 1002 Hi/Lo Adjustable, 1003 Seated Chest Press, 1004 Pec Dec, 1005 Rower, 1006 Leg Curl/Leg Extension combo bench, 1007 Seated Leg Extension, 1008 Angled Leg Curl, 1009 Quad Pulleys, 1011 Bicep Machine, or 1012 Tricep Machine (See separate entries for descriptions).
