RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Fruit and Vegetable Set, model FV-set, is an educational toy designed for use by children with cognitive and upper extremity disabilities.The set encourages the development of bilateral skills as they use a wooden knife to cut up large wooden fruits and vegetables with sections held together with Velcro. Users develop color and shape recognition skills and matching skills as they put the cut up fruits and vegetables back together. The Fruit Set ($15.95) includes a knife, a pear, an apple, and a lemon. The Vegetable Set ($15.95) includes a knife, a carrot, a mushroom, and a turnip.
