(Verified 08/2012) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Program to Develop Efficiency in Visual Functioning, model 1-08530-00, is a visual training program designed for use by individuals with low vision. This program provides a means to train individuals to use their vision more efficiently. Assessment items correspond to instructional units, so training can be targeted and individualized. Two interrelated kits, packaged separately in plastic carrying cases, make up the program. The Diagnostic Assessment Procedure identifies specific training needs, while the Design for Instruction Kit conttains lessons and materials for vision training. OPTIONS: Items availalbe separately include Volume I, Diagnostic Assessment Procedure (8-16040-00, $16.00); Volume II, Design for Instruction (8-16070-00, $15.00); 10 copies each of Low Vision Observation Checklist & Diagnostic Assessment Procedure Record Booklet (8-16050-00, $31.50); and an Addendum including the revised Source Book on Low Vision, Volume III of Design for Instruction for Learners with Developmental Delays, and 55 new lesson cards (8-16030-00, $2.00).
