« Previous Product Next Product »The Lumbar Wraps, models LW201 to LW205, are hot and cold therapy packs for physical therapy, sports medicine, home care, occupational therapy, and other applications requiring hot and cold treatments and simultaneous pressure treatment. These wraps are designed for the lower back and attach to the affected area like a belt. The wraps are made of a flexible gel covered with a four-way stretch material to allow maximum conformity, heat transfer, and comfort. The wrap will remain soft and flexible at temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit and is heat stable so that it can be autoclaved at temperatures to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. The wrap will remain cold for 20 to 40 minutes, and will continue to provide heat for 20 to 30 minutes. The packs may be heated in microwave ovens. Each pack is supplied with a removable cloth cover. The plastic cover may be surface sterilized with standard disinfectant solutions. The packs are waterproof, and provide dry heat unless used with a wet cloth. SIZES: Available in Small (24 to 30 inch waists, LW201-SM), Medium (for 32 to 36 inch waists, LW202-MED), Large (for 36 to 40 inch waists, LW203-LG), Extra Large (for 40 to 44 inch waists, LW204-XLG), and Extra Extra Large (for 46 to 52 inch waists, LW205-3XLG).
