« Previous Product Next Product »The Elasto-Gel Foot/Ankle Wrap, FA 6080, is a hot or cold therapy wrap designed to fit the foot and ankle for thermal therapy applications in physical or occupational therapy, sports medicine, home care, and other situations. Elasto-Gel is a tough, flexible gel covered with a four-way stretch material to allow maximum conformity, heat transfer, and comfort. The wrap will remain soft and flexible at temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit, and is heat stable to be autoclaved at temperatures of up to 250 degrees. The wrap will remain cold for 20 to 40 minutes, and will provide heat for 20 to 30 minutes. The wrap may be heated in microwave or conventional ovens for dry heat, unless used with a wet cloth. The plastic covered, waterproof wrap comes with a removable cloth cover. The plastic cover may be surface sterilized with standard disinfectant solutions. The wrap stays in place with velcro straps.
