The Classic Hand Control Knob Grip Straight Handle, model 3501KB, is a hand control designed to allow individuals with lower extremity disabilities or spinal cord injury to operate the accelerator and brake of a motor vehicle with one hand. Designed for comfort and added leverage when braking and accelerating, this unit comes with a standard bent brake and rod that allows the control to be mounted higher in the vehicle. A center pivot of controls allows the grip to be pivoted away from the door for more hand clearance. This control can be equipped with horn and dimmer switches by an authorized dealer.
Notes: Manufacturer states this product meets or exceeds standards issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). ** The manufacturer recommends that be this product be installed by an authorized Mobility Products & Design dealer. ** Any vehicle in which this product is installed must be equipped with automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes.
