The Motorhome Lift, model 124, is a mobile homelift designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. This steel lift is designed without a platform and operated by suspending the wheelchair and the user from a vertically pivoting arm. The arm pivots down to attach to the occupied wheelchair, then lifts the occupant and chair into the motorhome. Permanently attached nylon webbing attach chair to the arm of the lift (permanent, detachable or temporary visitor hookup chains also available). This lift is attendant or user-operated with push button up/down switches. The lift has no hydraulic parts. The arm's design allows setting the wheelchair on curbs or other uneven surfaces. Models are available for mounting on either the left or right side of the doorway. A low amp, half horsepower motor drives a gear that operates the arm of the lift. A toggle switch will turn off power to the lift while the motorhome is being driven. DIMENSIONS: This lift is designed for motorhomes with a floor-to-ground height of 34 inches or less, and a standard 30-inch wide exterior door (or exterior door must be 3 inches wider than the wheelchair). 6.5 inches of wall space is required inside the motorhome doorway for mounting. CAPACITY: Maximum lift capacity is 600 pounds.
Notes: Freight and factory installation are not included in the purchase price.
