--- DISCONTINUED. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Powered mechanical arm is installed on the top of any model car to lift and store any standard manual wheelchair on the top of the car. Rustproof steel frame and mechanical arm, fiberglass rack cover. Insulated motor, electrical system powered by car battery. Rustproof clips attach system to the roof of the car without damage to the car, can be transferred to other cars. Switch operates lift mechanism. Person transfers to car, folds wheelchair, attaches mechanical arm of lifter to chair and operates switch to place wheelchair in carrier on top of car. Two sizes available: large for mid-size to luxury cars, and small for compact cars.

Notes: System needs to be lubricated every 6 months. Videotape available for loan demonstrating use of device.
