--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 11/2012) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Magnum Lift is an electric, trunk-mounted wheelchair and scooter loader with a built-in control. The lift is designed to be permanently installed in one side of a car's trunk or in a van, SUV, or truck. The lift's arm folds flat in the trunk when not in use and unfolds and locks in the operating position. The lift's boom swivels more than 90 degrees and lifts up to 300 pounds. The boom angle can be adjusted between 0 and 45 degrees. A remote controller connects to the lift with a cord. The unit lifts and lowers using the controller, but must be manually positioned over the wheelchair or scooter for lifting and over the trunk before lowering into the car's trunk. The lift can be reinstalled into a new vehicle. POWER: The 1/5 horsepower motor is powered by the car's electrical system. OPTIONS: Regular docking device; universal docking device; power seat docking device; adjustable C-arm; large adjustable wheelchair C-arm. DIMENSIONS: Minimum space requirements are 17.125 to 26.625 inches of vertical clearance necessary when trunk is open. The lift's boom extends from 29.5 to 44.5 inches. WEIGHT: 54.4 to 56 pounds.
