(Verified 01/2007) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Motorized Easel is an easel and motorized easel designed to enable a user with limited reach to paint or draw on large canvases. By touching a sensitive micro-switch, the user can move the drawing board up or down, or to either side. The base of the easel is designed to straddle a hospital or regular twin bed. The tilting drawing board features a removable lip that accepts canvases like a regular easel, and can accomodate larger-size canvases. Inclination is set manually by an attendant for sitting, reclining, or lying in bed. The easel frame is constructed of steel and aluminum, and the drawing board is fabricated of wood. OPTIONS: Other types of controls are available. POWER: The easel connects to regular 115 VAC household currect or to a wheelchair battery. DIMENSIONS: The easel is 49 inches wide by 25 inches deep; height is adjustable from 34 to 54 inches.
