(Verified 2/2006) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Rifton Large Supine Board, model E41, is a standing table designed for use with children and adults 46 to 72 inches tall with mobility disabilities. This wooden board includes an adjustable footboard and four support blocks, covered in nylon knit, which adjust up, down, in, or out for optimum positioning. The armrests adjust anywhere along the frame and fold out of the way for entry and exit. Variable armrest tilt helps control upper body posture. Adjustable straps at the waist and knees also aid in maintaining correct posture while providing security. A position indicator measures progress and enables the board to be set at the same position or progressed in even steps. An easy-turning crank adjusts the board to a range of positions between horizontal and vertical. This board also features telescoping legs for stability; a push of a button enables the legs to be retracted for storage. Double locking casters prevent swivel and rolling during transfers. OPTIONS: Suction cup handholds, round abduction block, foot sandals, foot wedges, wooden tray, clear, tray, and others. DIMENSIONS: 71 x 19 inches. The Board is 32 inches high when horizontal and 74 inches high when vertical. The distance between lateral supports adjusts from 9 to 16 inches. With the legs extended, the base is 33 x 45 inches and with the legs retracted, the base is 29 x 30 inches. CAPACITY: 200 pounds
