The Venture Deluxe 277 is a folding manual wheelchair designed for use by adults with lower extremity, mobility or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury, as well as amputees. In addition to the standard 277 model, this wheelchair comes in narrow (models 277N and 277NE) and wide (models 277W and 277WE) versions. FRAME (HxLxW): 36 x 41 or 43 x 24, 26 or 28 inches. The folded dimensions (LxW) are 31 x 11.5 inches. The triple chrome plated frame has stainless steel side panels. Anti-tippers and an anti-folding device are optional. SEAT (LxWxH): 16 x 16, 18 or 20 x 20 inches. A non-removable 16.75-inch high back is standard. A seat belt and headrest extension are optional. UPHOLSTERY: Blue embossed, flame retardant vinyl upholstery. ARMRESTS: Removable desk-length padded armrests are standard. BRAKES: Adjustable toggle wheel locks are standard. Wheel lock extension tubes are optional. CASTERS: 8 x 1 inch molded casters with solid rubber tires. WHEELS: 24 x 1 inch rear molded wheels with solid rubber tires are standard. Pneumatic tires and pneumatic tires with airless inserts are optional. Composite handrims are standard; projection handrims and a one-arm drive are optional. FOOTRESTS: Cam-action swing-away detachable padded legrests or footrests with composite footplates are standard. Elevating legrests are optional (available on models 277E, 277NE, and 277WE). The front riggings extend from 16 to 21 inches. Leg straps and an anti-theft lock for front riggings are optional. OPTIONS: Amputee adapter; anti-theft bar; wheelchair tray; IV rod attachment; and oxygen tank holder. CAPACITY: 250 pounds on models 277, 277E, 277N and 277NE; or 280 pounds on models 277W and 277WE. WEIGHT: 39 pounds on models 277N and 277NE; 40 pounds on model 277 and 277E; or 41 pounds model 277W and 277WE.
