The Compactor Super Hemi 797 is a lightweight folding manual wheelchair for use by children and adults with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury as well as amputees. In addition to the standard adult 797 model, this wheelchair comes in children’s (models 797C and 797CE), narrow adult (models 797N and 797NE) and wide adult (models 797W and 797WE) versions. FRAME (HxLxW): 31 to 34 x 39 or 41 x 21, 23, 25, or 27 inches. The dual axle position, multi-angle caster stem and adjustable height front caster fork allow for adjustment of the chair’s height. The folded dimensions (LxW) are 29 x 11 inches. The folding chrome-plated frame has composite side panels. Anti-tippers and an anti-folding device are optional. SEAT (LxW): 16 x 14, 16, 18, or 20 inches. The seat height adjusts between 16 and 17 inches. A standard adjustable-height back can be 16, 17 or 18 inches high. A seatbelt is optional. UPHOLSTERY: Black padded nylon upholstery. ARMRESTS: Wrap-around, swing-back padded armrests are standard. BRAKES: Adjustable toggle wheel locks are standard. Wheel lock extension tubes are optional. CASTERS: 6 x 1 inch molded casters with lightweight polyurethane tires. WHEELS: 20 x 1 inch rear molded wheels with lightweight polyurethane tires are standard. Pneumatic tires and pneumatic tires with airless inserts are optional. FOOTRESTS: Cam-action swing-away detachable padded legrests or footrests with composite footplates are standard. Elevating legrests are optional and available on models 797E, 797CE, 797NE and 797WE. Front riggings extend from 14 to 19 inches. Leg straps and an anti-theft lock for front riggings are optional. OPTIONS: Amputee adapter; anti-theft bar; wheelchair tray; IV rod attachment; and oxygen tank holder. CAPACITY: 250 pounds for models 797 and 797E or 280 pounds on models 797W and 797WE. WEIGHT: 26.5 pounds for models 797C and 797CE; 27.5 pounds for models 797N and 797NE, 28.5 pounds models 797 and 797E, or 29.5 pounds for models 797W and 797WE.
