The Zippie 2 is a lightweight manual child's wheelchair. FRAME: Folding back with collapsible crossbrace. The frame is available in a choice of 12- to 16-inch widths in 1-inch increments, in regular and kids lengths with multiple growth adjustments. A free growth kit is available with this chair. The frame is available in a choice of 11 standard colors and 3 custom colors. Rear anti-tip tubes are standard; front anti-tips are optional. SEAT: Accepts a wide variety of seating inserts for customized seat height and positioning. The seat widths and depths range from 12 to 16 inches in 1-inch increments. Custom seat depths are available at an extra charge. The backrest is available in low, 11 to 12 inches high; medium, 13 to 14 inches high; and tall, 15 to 16 inches high. Fixed stroller handles in low, medium, or high are standard on the backrest. Swing-away adjustable stroller handles are available. A solid seat and back are available at an extra charge. UPHOLSTERY: Black upholstery is standard. Blue, red, or hot pink color striping is optional. ARMRESTS: Flip-up armrests are standard. Adjustable locking flip-up or adult or child's height- adjustable armrests with full- or desk-length pads are optional. BRAKES: High-push or high-pull wheel locks are standard. Extension handles and grade aids are available. CASTERS: 5-inch low-profile polyurethane casters are standard; 6- or 8-inch polyurethane or pneumatic casters are offered at no extra charge. 8 inch x 2 inch pneumatic casters or pneumatic casters with airless inserts are extra-cost options. WHEELS: 20-, 22-, or 24-inch spoked or mag wheels with pneumatic or full- or low-profile polyurethane tires. Also available at extra cost are 12- or 16-inch wheels without handrims and pneumatic tires with airless inserts, high pressure clinchers, or kevlar or kevlar with airless insert tires. Aluminum handrims are standard. Plastic-coated handrims, grade aids, and projections are available. FOOTRESTS: 60-, 70-, or 90-degree swing-away legrests with composite, adjustable flip-up footplates or a 90-degree footboard are standard. Articulating adult or child's legrests, elevating legrests, angle-adjustable or extended footplates, and platform flip-up footrests are optional. OPTIONS: Backpack, seat pouch, side guards, spoke guards, positioning belts, touch-up paint, and others. CAPACITY: 150 pounds. WEIGHT: 25 pounds without footrests.
