The TiLite Youth YG Series is a child's manual wheelchair designed for use by children with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. The chair has adjustable frame dimensions and seat width and length to allow for the child's growth. FRAME: Rigid titanium frame with expandable camber tube that adjusts for height and center of gravity. The chair is available with 70, 80, or 85 degree frame front angles; model YG has a fixed front end and model YGS has a swing-away front end. The chair has a satin frame finish and cane-style or height- and angle-adjustable stroller-style handles. Anti-tips are optional. SEAT (LxW): 10 to 14, 12 to 16, or 16 to 18 x 10 to 11, 12 to 14, 14 to 16, or 16 to 18 inches. The front seat height from the floor is 14.5 to 20 inches and the back seat height from the floor is 13 to 19 inches in half-inch increments. A folding aluminum back with adjustable height and angle is standard. Options include a 4-inch deep backrest rigidizer bar and a seat belt. UPHOLSTERY: Tension-adjustable bolt-on seat upholstery and Velcro-adjustable back upholstery are standard. Options include no upholstery and back upholstery that is tension adjustable by straps. Available colors are black, red, royal blue, navy blue, hunter green, or purple. ARMRESTS: Swing-away, height-adjustable and removable flip-up arms. BRAKES: Push-to-lock wheel locks. CASTERS: 3-inch front micro-casters are standard. Options include 4-, 5-, or 6-inch front wheels made of aluminum or plastic with poly, soft roll, or pneumatic tires. WHEELS: 20-, 22-, or 24-inch lightweight rear wheels with low flange hubs, treaded pneumatic tires, and black aluminum anodized handrims are standard. Options include high flange hubs; Spinergy SPOX wheels; plastic Mag wheels; airless tire inserts; solid rear tires; and silver anodized aluminum or titanium handrims. FOOTRESTS: Flip-up footrests are standard; options include a one-piece angle-adjustable rigid footrest, heel loops, and footrest extensions. WEIGHT: Model YG weighs 13.7 pounds and model YGS weighs 16 pounds (YGS).
