The Astaire Plus is a lighweight adult wheelchair designed for use by individuals with lower extremity disabilities, mobility disabilities, or spinal cord injury. FRAME: Carbon steel frame with double-coated chrome finish and dual axle that allows transition of seat to hemi-level. SEAT: 16-, 18-, 20-, or 22-inch width. UPHOLSTERY: Heavy-gauge flame-retardant black nylon upholstery. ARMRESTS: Removeable arm with padded nylon armrest. Removeable arm comes in a choice of desk- or full-arm styles, and with or without height adjustability. CASTERS: Front caster forks adjustable in three positions. WHEELS: Composite mag wheels with precision-sealed wheel bearings. FOOTRESTS: Composite footplates with optional swing-away footplate extension and swing-away elevating legrest with calf pads. WEIGHT: 36 pounds, excluding front rigging. WARRANTY: Limited lifetime warranty.
