Picture of LIFESTAND LS LifeStand LS is a stand up wheelchair designed for use by individuals with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury. This is a manually propelled wheelchair with a manually powered standing mechanism. The user is lifted to standing position by propelling the chair forward, with assistance from a hydraulic cylinder system that is adjusted to the individual's weight. A power assisted stand unit is also available as an option. FRAME (LxWxH [sitting]): 96-108 x 57, 61, 65 or 69 x 84, 92 or 108 centimeters (cm). Rigid frame with push handles and hydraulic gas cylinders. The frame color is purple ice, chili pepper red, metallic charcoal gray, and black onyx. Anti-tippers are included.. SEAT (WxD): 36, 40, 44 or 48 x 41-55 centimeters. The seat depth and back angle are adjustable. The back is available in heights of 30, 40 or 50 centimeters. The seat-to-floor height is 51 centimeters. ARMRESTS: When sitting, the loop handles used for standing serve as armrests. BRAKES: Brake extensions are optional. CASTERS: Front casters, 15 centimeters in diameter. WHEELS: Quick release, 60-centimeters diameter wheels with optional no-flat inserts and vinyl coated hand rims. FOOTRESTS: Adjustable footrests and tibial supports are standard. CAPACITY: 120 kilograms. WEIGHT: 22, 23, 24 or 25 kilograms.
