The Quickie TS is a manual tilt-in-space wheelchair designed for use by individuals who need to change position without leaving the wheelchair. FRAME: The frame is available in regular and long configurations, and frame widths range from 14 to 20 inches in 1-inch increments. Rear anti-tip tubes are standard; front anti-tip tubes are optional. The frame is available in 11 standard colors and 3 custom colors. SEAT: The standard seat is available in 15- to 17-inch depths, in 1-inch increments on the regular frame and in 18- to 20-inch depths on the long frame. Seat widths are .5 inch narrower than the frame. The seat height depends upon wheel and caster sizes and seat position on the frame. A solid seat or seat pan is optional. A padded back is standard; 18- or 20-inch high backs are optional. The backrest includes a chooice of standard, medium, or tall stroller handles and swing-away adjustable stroller handles and removable extensions are available. Solid seats and backs are standard. The seat unit features a 45-degree tilt unit controlled by dual release levers and a 0- to 18-degree seat to back angle. A hinged back-to-seat bracket is available. UPHOLSTERY: Black foam-padded upholstery is standard. ARMRESTS: Dual-post armrests with full- or desk-length pads are standard. Dual-post, height adjustable armrests with standard or full-length pads; adjustable-locking flip-up; or height-adjustable armrests with standard or full-length pads are available. BRAKES: High-push wheel locks are standard and high-pull wheel locks are available at no charge. Extension handles, foot lock brakes, and grade aids are also available. CASTERS: Low-profile polyurethane 5-inch casters are standard. Pneumatic 8-inch, pneumatic 6-inch, and 6- or 8-inch polyurethane, are offered at no extra charge. 8 inch x 2 inch pnematic casters or pneumatic casters with airless inserts are extra cost options. WHEELS: Spoke wheels with adjustable axle plates are standard and mag wheels are offered at no extra charge. Standard wheels are 24 inches in diameter; 16-, 20-, and 22-inch wheels are offered at no charge. Pneumatic tires are standard; full- or low-profile polyurethane tires are offered at no extra charge. Pneumatic tires with airless inserts, high-pressure clincher, and Kevlar tires are also available. Aluminum handrims are standard. Plastic-coated handrims and handrim projections are available as options. FOOTRESTS: Swing-away 60-, 70- or 90-degree or 70-degree V footrests with composite footplates and heel loops are standard. Adjustable, flip-up footplates are offered at no charge. Angle-adjustable or extended footrests are optional. A 90-degree footboard or platform flip-up footrest, elevating legrests, and articulating legrests are also available. OPTIONS: Spoke guards, positioning belts, side guards, touch-up paint, tray, and others. CAPACITY: 250 pounds. WEIGHT: 49 pounds. WARRANTY: Lifetime frame guarantee.
